With the integration of mobile apps, GMC can target both a wide range of customers, but also those in a specific area. Their Showroom app makes it easy for potential owners to browse inventory. "?we are completely rethinking our mobile experience, and will have a big investment this year and next. Our goal through next year is to have the same level of functionality from top to bottom of funnel. Our mobile site will be completely different. It belongs in our mainstream strategy."1

As GMC is one of only a few sole-truck makers in the world, they corner the market on pickup, SUV, and CUV (crossover) sales. Craig, as well as the rest of GMC, feel consumers are more responsible for their choices now because of the economy. They want the best bang for their buck. With GMC's "Professional Grade" of work and safety equipment, as well as entertainment options, they feel the competition is hard pressed to fight.

Consumer insight can also bring a better GMC to the world. "We had that cultural insight -- we have been doing a lot of ethnography, and we have found that people who GMC are disciplined achievers. They believe something worth doing is worth doing incredibly well."2
