2012 Buick Verano Pricing, Specs Announced

Buick just can't stop producing new, quality vehicles like the upcoming Buick Verano. This smaller 4-door sedan is the American automaker's first compact vehicle since the 1990's. But that doesn't mean vehicles coming into Gary Lang Buick GMC in McHenry, IL will be any less special than other quality vehicles in Buick's line up.

Verano comes well equipped at a starting price of $23,470 for a base model, with top trim coming in at $26,850). That price will get you into leatherette seating with seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10 airbags, automatic climate control, remote start, power windows and steering audio controls standard.

It's all part of Buick's commitment to pursuing "entry level luxury."

According to the company, "All Verano models come powered by a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces a competitive 180 horsepower and 171 ft-lb of torque, and is expected to deliver fuel economy of 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway."1

Being priced around $20k will help when battling the competition from other auto makers, who are trying to bring as much luxury as possibly to entry-level customers and younger buyers.
