All-New 2013 Buick Encore SUV Debuts in Detroit

Buick pulled the veil off of the all-new 2013 Buick Encore at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI earlier this month. And, Gary Lang Buick GMC, serving McHenry has to say, it was everything we could have hoped for and more.
Style wise, the new Buick Encore SUV keeps with the brand's new global design language, which Gary Lang Buick GMC poses is partly responsible for their two, consecutive years of growth. With soft, graceful lines, and a small, fluid-looking waterfall grill, it's a pure example of modern elegance.
Speaking on the overall aesthetic of the 2013 Buick Encore, David Lyon, Executive Design Director, Buick says, "The Encore brings Buick's timeless, sculptural design to the crossover segment in a way that blends elegance, efficiency and utility. There's confidence in its athletic stance and elemental beauty in its rich details."1
Among the rich details Lyon refers to are remote vehicle start; dual-zone automatic climate control; leather seats; rain-sensing windshield wipers; Bose premium sound system; heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel; six-way, power-adjustable driver's seat with memory, and Intellilink multimedia.
What about power and fuel economy? Well, Buick still has yet to release an official fuel-economy rating for the 2013 Buick Encore luxury SUV. But, given the fact, it's slated to feature the same 1.4-liter, turbo, 4-cylinder engine as the super-efficient Cruze and Sonic, we're willing to bet it beats out its closest competitors (i.e., the Tiguan, CX-5, and Escape).
Want to learn more? Stay tuned as Gary Lang Buick GMC brings you any and all late-breaking updates. And remember, if a small SUV doesn't really fit your lifestyle, you can always explore the opulent, new Buick Enclave online or in person at 1111 S. Route 31, McHenry, IL.
